Philosophy Why was Impresario started? Impresario was started in order to create an outlet for producers and other creative spirits on their journey through this industry we call entertainment. There are many levels in this game and many players. We are all living in the DIGITAL ERA of information overload. Your world is as big or as small as you want it to be. We have more power and access to a lot more information compared to the generations before us but maybe its us but it seems like we are losing our true identities. What used to be unique is no longer special. Who used to be creative is no longer percieved as being creative. Everything is mass produced and mass marketed so the masses (the true followers) have become the new leaders. The powers to be (the system) feeds the masses what they think it needs. Those needs are manipulated by greed, ratings and the corporate mindset. Long story short, if you are not on that page or believe the hype you either choke in your own despair and frustration or you become one of those followers. Thus we all live in a vicious circle. What is different about Impresario? We are not claiming to be anything different but it wont be because we are not trying! Every note has already been played a million times so what's really new? They say that the new frontier is technology and knowing what to do with it. This label was started in order to create an outlet for those things that are different in one way or the other. That difference is sometimes hard to see but it doesn't matter, as long as it is good! We are here for the people that still dare to CREATE. For those that don't fit the mold. For those that are not copying or stealing from others. Those that dare make things that DON'T fit a particular format. For those that DON'T care if their music gets on the radio. For those that are not concerned about having their faces in some video clip with a 2 week lifespan. Before we were bombarded with all the channels and internet there was music. Impresario is about music! We keep it pure, organic and true to the source. Don't get it twisted, we are still a business but one with a heart and a soul! So now you know!

Vision We started this label because we were missing a certain magic in the music that is being released today. Darrell Bell, founder and managing director of Impresario has been in the business for more than 20 years. In these times its so easy for people to make music but the essence of the art is a bit shallow at times. Being a producer himself for many years he decided it was time for a new challenge and that challenge was to start a label for PRODUCERS ONLY. Thus the birth of IMPRESARIO. See us as a vehicle to help certain creative spirits navigate in a new dimension. One mans art is GARBAGE to the next man, so to each his own.
